Avery Pace

Growing up, Pace had spent time in Southern Pines, North Carolina riding horses and visiting family. In 2025, she participated in a 200HR yoga teacher training program at Hot Asana Yoga Studio in downtown Southern Pines. Pace is now registered with the yoga alliance as a 200HR RYT as a vinyasa instructor.

Pace is an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. She is studying health sciences and neuroscience with a foundation in the general sciences. Her academic interests include but are not limited to: health span as it relates to exercise in the female body, mental health, and the intersection between pregnancy and substance abuse/addiction.

She says “I promise to look through the superficiality of life and to live my truth and dharma to serve this world. I promise to honor you and your body in and outside of the classes that I have the honor of holding space for.”

During her classes, she hopes to open her heart to everyone. Pace hopes to see individuals not through their physical body, but rather through their heart instead.

“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.” ― Gautama Buddha
