Stacey came to yoga in the early 2000s as a way to balance the miles she was logging as a runner. She quickly fell in love with how grounded, strong, and at ease her body felt after class. With the encouragement of several beloved teachers, she completed her 200hour Vinyasa certification through the Satya Life School of Yoga in Milwaukee, WI — and she hasn’t looked back since.
After 28 years in Milwaukee, Stacey and her husband relocated to Weaverville in August 2025. She is currently pursuing her 300hour certification through the Asheville Yoga Center, continuing to deepen her knowledge and expand her love of yoga. She enjoys teaching a variety of styles and appreciates the way yoga connects mind, body, and breath in a way that feels both empowering and restorative.
In addition to teaching yoga, Stacey substitute teaches for Buncombe County Schools. Outside the classroom and studio, she loves running, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She and her husband live in Weaverville with their two dogs and can often be found exploring local trails and discovering new breweries in the area.
